Bohigas Brut Nature Cava Review

Have something to celebrate this weekend? A great option for your toast is Cava, a champagne method sparkling wine from Catalunya. You probably know that only sparkling wines that come from the Champagne region of France can have the denomination “Champagne”, but you may not realize that Cava is produced in virtually the same way! One particularly economical choice is the Bohigas Brut Nature Cava.

This family-run vineyard has been producing wine since before Columbus sailed the ocean blue and their customers are almost purely the Barcelona based.

This particular wine is available for ~9 euros in many supermarkets of Madrid. It’s well balanced and delicate and is lovely with turrón or other desserts. It’s also enjoyable on its own!
