  1. Surely more than once you’ve been desperate to find a taxi and  without the number to request one. There have also been occasions when you’ve also felt cheated by the cost of a taxi trip, right? This same problem was resolved by three young Spanish entrepreneurs in the form of ‘Taksee! “.This application or more colloquially referred to from here on as App is for iPhones, Androids and Blackberrys. The great thing about this app is that it allows you to know in advance the approximate price to be paid for each journey. It also calculates the estimated time of the route and mileage. This app is available FREE from Apple’s App Store, Android Market, Google or through the web. Enjoy the app and please let us know how well its working for you!
  2. This next application is handy for those travelling in a car especially on holidays. This app will make your holidays a lot easier and fun. The app is called iCam and allows you to see the road conditions in real time. Avoiding congestions will definitely take out crankiness from any itinerary.Go to the index of this app to locate road traffic camera accordingly for the roads A31, A42, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, AP6, M11, M14, M40, M45, M501, M503, M607.Then be forewarned of roadworks, roadblocks and so forth. Find this app from here. The app is FREE. Enjoy the app and please let us know how well its working for you!
  3. Are you a regular metro user? If you live in Madrid and you usually use public transport service, this application is going to come in handy. You will know the best route and the map with all subway lines and train lines. Madrid Metro | Bus | Suburban is a 3 in one app which unifies everything you need to move in Madrid. The Metro and Train sections offer the schematic and  geographical map as well as calculating the recommended route, the price of tickets and passes, the nearest stations for GPS positioning and a curious detail, the overall service time and the time slot to come up with a bicycle .And finally, the bus service functionality , shows the lines that pass through the stop according to the line you request by putting in the line number. It also offers, the corresponding travel time and the direction you are headed. This application launched for the Android smartphone is compatible with 2.1 versions or higher and is free or you pay 0.99 € if you don’t want any advertising to show while you are viewing maps. Enjoy the app and please let us know how well its working for you! READ MORE »
