The name of this exposition was inspired by the narrative of J.G. Ballard called “Deep End” .It is the title of a story by this author of science fiction translated into Spanish as “Sunset”. The artists Botto & Bruno select pictures, cut them out, then recompose them manually in a puzzle of trial and error conducted with by means of technical collage without any computer manipulation. They then print them into huge wallpapers and pvc, forming an industrial landscape, abstract and surprisingly poetic extending through the walls and floor. These Italian artists have participated in the Venice Biennale of 2001, Busan Biennale in 2002, the MAMCO with a personal exhibition in Geneva in 2003, in 2004 at the Caixa Forum in Barcelona, Nice Mamac, in 2008, in Toulouse for the annual festival Le Primtemps du Septembre and in 2010 at the Shanghai Biennale. This expos ends on the 8th of March and can be visited at the Instituto Italiano de Cultura de Madrid located in Calle Mayor 86, closest from Metro Sol.
