I definately recommend the Market Day, I’ve been twice and I plan on going every first saturday each month. Great initiative for us who want to buy local produce.

I love books like this, the internet of course is a great resource, but I like being able to mark pages in books and magazines of restaurants and places I’d like to try out. My friend gave me some names of places to visit in Madrid since she was there last summer, I’ll have to check this book out and see if any of them are in there, too!

So sorry to hear that. I too attended and nothing. I had found the information off the Reina Sofia website and it did say that is was scheduled for Sunday, January 29th @ 7:30pm. There is another concert scheduled again for Monday, February 6th. Expect a blog post about it soon!

I love this place, from breakfast to late night coctails… I would definately recommend carrot cake for a treat!
