Festival of Sacred Arts: Free Vocal Ensemble Concerts

To end the month, the Festival of Sacred Art in Madrid present two concerts. Tonight, under the artistic direction of Laurence Brisset, Ensemble De Caelis will interpret a medieval repertoire a cappella. Their presentation will be at the Royal Parish Church of San Ginés @ 8pm on c / Arenal, 13. Metro: Sol.

Second performance by Amarcord, a German male classical vocal ensemble based in Leipzig, Germany. Founded in 1992 by five former members of the St. Thomas Choir, their focus is Medieval music, Renaissance music and the collaboration with contemporary composers. Numerous tours brought the quintet to give concerts in over fifty countries.

They will be performing tomorrow Wednesday, February 29th @ 8:45pm in the Santa Teresa & Santa Isabel Church on C/ Eloy Gonzalo, 35. Metro: Iglesia.
