El Pedal in Lavapíes

It is finally happening.  The weather is finally cooperating, the sun is staying out longer and it is beginning to warm up!!  Now is the time we begin to apprectiate a nice, cold, quality beer.

If you happen to be looking for a beer with just a little something more, something which steers clear of the flavors typically found in the beers served in Madrid such as Mahou, Cruz Campo or San Miguel, then try these local spots for artisanal beers.  They offer more beer than you can try in a single night and some offer outdoor seating so you can start to enjoy this warm weather.

Introducing: Naturbier, La Casa de Cerveza and El Pedal

Naturbier
Naturbier is a unique mircrobrewery found in Madrid’s Center.  They offer beers with smooth, grapefruity hops that match the warm tones of the rustic yellow bar in which its served.  Check it out and be sure not to miss the basement cellar where you can catch a sporting event on their TV screens and also serve yourself from your own table TAP!
