Do-It-Yourself Pottery: Pinta En Copas
In need of a personalized gift? Aspiring artist? Or just looking to kill some time with friends and tired of normal coffee dates? Pinta en Copas is a perfect solution.
The shop is the first of its kind to bring do-it-yourself pottery painting to Spain. The steps are simple: pick the item you want to paint, grab your paint colors, brushes, free coffee or tea, and unleash your inner-Van Gogh. Once you are done painting, you leave your masterpiece at the shop and must swing by a couple days letter to pick up the finished product.Pieces run from 8 – 35 Euros. They offer everything from ashtrays and coffee cups to vases and watering cans. If you are looking for design inspiration, they have design books featuring a variety of art styles and ideas. They accommodate big groups and parties (with reservation) but every participant must be over eight years old. They will even arrange kits for large groups wanting to paint outside of the shop that includes everything you need. If you check out their online calendar, you can also find daily specials. They are closed Mondays but open Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-2pm, & 5pm-10pm (11pm on Saturdays). Check them out on Calle Vellarde, 3.
