Museo Nacional de Antrología offers a workshop with acid and very fresh flavor, which has the ceviche, one of Latin American´s dishes of excellence by par as a protagonist. Among its basic ingredients are fish, onion and lemon juice. The workshop starts with an introduction to the ceviche, its origin and its variants.This will be followed by a presentation with of the range of products that can be used in this dish. The participants of this workshop will have the opportunity to prepare their own ceviche. Chef Miguel Ángel Valdivieso (Cevicuchería ) will lead this workshop. This workshop is a delight those with a sweet tooth! Firstly,the participants will learn about the Spanish baking tradition, techniques and recipes which have survived for centuries from generation to generation. Then they will take part in an educational tour of the beautiful setting of eighteenth century Valencian cuisine preserved in the National Museum of Decorative Arts .Afterwards, attendees can get “hands-on” experience by decorating cupcakes in collaboration with professionals from Oh my Cup! Mercado de la Paz
The Mercado de la Paz in Salamanca will host tastings of both Spanish and international cuisine. In addition, after the tasting on Friday the 5th of February, detailed below there will be a jazz-country-folk performance by the group, Over the Moon at the market.

Tasting of delicious pisto manchego accompanied by an exquisite wine from the region.

Mercado de la Paz located in Calle de Ayala, 28 will organize the tasting of seasonal vegetables and seafood delicacies accompanied by a good Galician white wine wheel well. There will also be a jazz-country-folk music concert at 18:30 with the group Over the Moon.

Tasting of French products accompanied by sparkling drinks from the with the neighboring country.
Mercado Vallehermoso

The Cerralbo Museum has been organizing events around the theme of ‘The garden of the senses‘ exploring the 5 senses. The arrival of Gastrofestival means that the museum will explore the senses of touch and taste with respect to gastronomy. The session begins with a course of fusion cuisine that mixes Japanese and Spanish traditions by Miyuki Miura. His intention is to create a mini edible garden in a Bento, Japanese traditional tray on with snacks. Additionally, there will be cocktail preparation lessons paired with a collaboration of the mentalist Paul Raijenstein. Event is sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin.
