Palazzo IceCream Madrid Helado

Frozen Finds – Helados Palazzo

With fourteen locations scattered across the city, chances are you have come across Palazzo before. Each outlet is recognizable by the statue of a friendly man with a mustache holding out an ice cream cone, enticing you to come in for a cool treat. As the temperatures continue to rise, his offer is becoming harder to resist. We popped into the shop located at Gran Vía 32 to check it out. If you are like me and always have trouble deciding on what flavor of ice cream to get, you will find it all the more complicated here where they offer over thirty flavors ranging from strawberry and mango to mint chocolate and arroz con leche.Prices range from 2.20 euros for the smallest cone to 3.70 euros for a large. If you want to take some home with you, they have containers up to a liter for 13 euros. They also serve granizados, a blended icy drink, in a variety of flavors including horchata and lemon. Of course, you can mix and match flavors if you can’t quite decide on one.

They are open every day from 10:00 to 2:30 in the morning. As the weather warms up, it’s a convenient spot to take a refreshing break any time of day.

At Palazzo, they serve the best kind of ice creams. I love the varieties they have, specially the frozen yogurts 😉

My kids love the ice creams of Palazzo. The best one is strawberry and chocolate one. The taste is very good and fresh. Even the prices are much reasonable.
