Local Farmer’s Market Made in Madrid

Under the slogan Madrid Cultivates & Produces, the Agrarian Chamber of the Community of Madrid, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, has launched the initiative Market Day since June 2011 in order to create a meeting point for locals to view the ample products from Madrid & for consumers to purchase directly from the producer with no intermediaries

You will find everything here – fruits, vegetables, legumes, olive oil, cheese, meat, wine, bread, honey, potato chips…all 100% Made in Madrid. The best part of this Local Farmer’s Market Made in Madrid is that at the entrance, you can purchase a wine glass for 2€ (yours to keep) with three vouchers to taste any three wines provided by the local wineries. A great way to start the weekend!

When: Every First Saturday of the Month from 10am – 3pm

Where: La Cámara Agraria Pº de la Puerta del Ángel, 4. Metro Lago (L10) or Puerta del Ángel (L6).

  1. Does this happen more than once a month? Or are there any other good markets? I’ll be in Madrid for a few days in mid-March and would love to go to a market like this!!

    1. Hi Erin, this one in particular is only once a month, on the 1st Saturday. But do check out our other articles on markets! 🙂
