First opened in Bridgeport, Connecticut in August 1965, Subway is now one of the fastest growing franchises in the world with 37,881 restaurants in 98 countries and territories as of November 7, 2012. With nearly 20 different sandwich options with your choice of freshly baked bread & various toppings, the menu also includes salads, cookies, breakfast items & set menus at low prices, no wonder it’s a favorite!

Here in Madrid, there are four locations:

1. Calle Marques Viudo de Pontejos15 near Plaza Mayor, metro Sol.
2. Calle Tetuán, 38 metro Sol.
3. Airport, Terminal 3, Unit in front of Gate E74
4. Calle Aracne s/n polígono de las mercedes. Centro Comercial Plenilunio, metro El Capricho (line 5).

So whenever you get the craving for a freshly made sub (or cookie), now you know where to find it. ;)

Subway has always been one of my favorite places to eat for a quick, healthy lunch when you don’t have time to go home. You can find them everywhere and they are fairly priced so you can afford them.
