Oxfam Initiative:Day of Hope Celebrations on 25th April

Intermón Oxfam has organised the day of  hope or its spanish equivalent “El dia de la esperanza”.Its taking place today,the 25th of April at the Plaza de Reina Sofía.The day is dedicated to conscientising our society about poverty which continues to affect the lives of millions of people worldwide.This objetive will be achieved through many activities including storytelling for children, games,workshops, music and stalls with objects and artefacts created by people from many affected areas around the world.The benefits from the sale of these items goes towards the projects run by  Intermón Oxfam.

              Expect strong language from the start

  •   Sorry, Wrong Number by Lucille Fletcher

                Expect extreme tension throughout

  •   Melissa McWhale by Walter Wykes

                Expect…something rather unusual

 The venue is  at Centro Gallego, C/ de las Carretas 14 on 5th and 6th February at 20:30.Entrance fee is €5 per person. All profits go to Intermón Oxfam in aid of Haiti Disaster Relief .For reservations email  [email protected] or telephone 918575064
