A few weeks ago we brought to you the story behind pizza joint PaPizza. There is no denying there is a demand for this grab-and-go option and today we bring you details on another city favorite, Pizza and Jazz. Over the past year, the co-owners have established two locations in prime spots. We visited the original spot on Calle Núñez de Arce, 11 that opened in March last year. In October, they set-up their second location right by nightclub Kapital. Both stay open until six in the morning (five on Mondays and Sundays), making them irresistible to those looking for a late-night pizza fix. Slices are 2€ each but they offer a combo of two slices and a drink for 4.50€. If you are feeding a group, you can get a medium pizza of 8 slices for 14€ or a large pizza of 16 slices for 25€. Right now, they are running a 2×1 deal on those large pizzas. They offer a wide variety of toppings including ham and cheese, bacon and onion, sweet squash (seen above), thousand cheese, and a weekly special simply called “Pizza & Jazz.” It’s all made on-site and fresh daily. If you decide to stick around to enjoy your food, there are a few seats at the ready. The place keeps true to its “jazzy” theme with records and photos of music legends on the wall and swinging music in the background.
