Free Concert: Traditional Music of Peru

“Alturas Trio” is a Peruvian band born in 1978. The group currently resides in Spain, from where it plays an important outreach and interpretation of various musical genres of Peru and Latin America, with emphasis on Afro-Peruvian rhythms that interpret the scene using more than 50 different instruments, all acoustic. Besides acting in most of Peru, “Alturas Trio” has given numerous concerts and participated in festivals held in Germany, Colombia, Spain, France, England, Israel and Morocco, among others. Therefore, currently considered as the best artistic Peruvian group abroad.

They will perform a free concert this Thursday, July 18th @ 8:30pm in the Anthropological Museum (c/ Alfonso XII, 68) Metro: Atocha. Early arrival is highly recommended. Tickets will be available from 7pm at the museum ticket office, maximum two per person.
