Haute Couture & Literature Extravaganza

In a fusion of hem and verse fashion designers apply the inspiration of literature in their clothes.The 20 designers ïn the exposition are inspired by Spanish ,Hispanics,Belgians and Hungarian writers. These designer clothes have passed through great cities like Brussels and Budapest before arriving in Madrid.In the case of the Spanish literature inspiration it is a result of many distinguished writers who have won the highest accolades in Spanish writing like Cervantes,Príncipe de Asturias, Reina Sofía de Poesía prizes.These writers include Juan Gelman, Álvaro Mutis, Carlos Fuentes and the noble Gabriel García Márquez.The exposition ends on the 23rd of May and its at Instituto Cervantes (c/ Alcalá, 49 Metro: Banco de España L2) which is open on Mondays to Saturdays from 11 till 14 h. and from 17 till 21 h. Sundays from 11 to 14 h.Entrace is free!
