Rock the Vote: Madrid 2012

Calling all U.S. citizens in Madrid!

Have a say in our country’s future and participate actively in our Country’s democratic process! The U.S. Embassy in Spain encourages all U.S. citizens to participate in this year’s elections, and stands ready to help you vote.  Almost all overseas U.S. citizens can vote.

Register and request a ballot. Complete and submit a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).  The FPCA allows you to register to vote and request an absentee ballot.  The easiest way to complete it is online at www.FVAP.gov. Depending on your State’s rules, you then send it to your local election officials electronically or by mail.  You may print out the completed FPCA and U.S. postage-paid envelope containing the address of your local election officials and drop it at the EmbassyConsulate General in Barcelona, any of the Consular Agencies in Spain, or bring it to the Rock the Vote Madrid 2012 event and have it mailed back home for you.

Learn more at the Federal Voting Assistance Program’s (FVAP) website www.FVAP.govIf you have questions about registering to vote overseas, please contact Madrid’s Voting Assistance Officer at 91-587-2240 or at [email protected]

Attend the Rock the Vote Madrid 2012 Election Event! The U.S. Embassy is proud to partner with the American Club of Madrid to bring you the Rock the Vote Madrid 2012 Election Event, Concert and DJ Party on September 20th.  The Embassy will provide free voter assistance at the event so bring your ID (and a photocopy) and U.S. voter address.  Admission is free but registration is required.  Register today!
