- 18:30 The Iron Giant. Director: Brad Bird, 1999, USA, 86 min. Animation. In 1957, in the small town of Rockwell, someone has seen a huge metal man falling into the sea. An imaginative child discovers that it is a giant robot, whose appetite is insatiable metal. Between them comes a strong friendship, but the government sent an agent to investigate. The boy hides his new partner in a friend’s junkyard. But the villagers begin to feel terrified because they think it is a new threat in the Cold War. - 20:00 Good night Spain. Director: Raya Martin, 2011, Spain and the Philippines, 70 min. A troubled young man traveling through the countryside and finds a woman. During the trip, they discover a museum housing the works of a Filipino expatriate, the most important artist of the revolution. Suddenly, the Spanish pair is transported to the colony. - 21:30 enxaneta. Director: Alfonso Amador, 2011, Spain, 76 min. The ‘enxaneta’ is a boy or girl who climbs up the ‘castell’, a major Catalonian tradition of building human towers. - 22:00 Intimate Lighting. Director: Ivan Passer. Czech Republic, 1965. 71 min. A young Prague cellist and his sophisticated girlfriend visiting some friends in a small town. - 22:00 Don Gil of the Green Trousers. Director: José Luis Tafur, Spain, 1971. Based on the work by Tirso de Molina, the story is about Doña Juana in the clothes of a man, dressed all in green including her breeches. She has been betrayed in love; the man to whom she is engaged, Martín de Guzmán, has now made plans to marry a wealthier woman, Inés. He intends to woo Inés using a false name, that of ‘Don Gil’. They can not help but come across your head Horace, who has promised to give a reprimand if seen in a trendy restaurant instead of taking the store. He agrees to take the quiet and gullible skeptical teacher and writer to a mysterious room where, by all accounts, the most intimate desires come true. - 22:30 X-Men First generation.     Me ha sido muy útil esta entrada, me ha encantado. Ayer viernes 20 de julio me acerqué a ver “La infancia de Iván”, una de las películas que aquí comentáis, me pareció buenísima, y además así descubrí el Centro Ruso de Madrid, que está muy bien.

    Gracias por informar de actividades tan interesantes.

    I Loved X men first generation, it was a wonderful movie. But I think X Men First class was a little bit better; not by much though. I loved all the promotional photos of the cast too. With the variety of posters distributed it shows how much film promotions have improved over the years.
