This month only, the French Institute of Madrid will be hosting two free concerts:

Thursday, June 14 @ 8pm - After the success of last year’s concert, the chorus of Handel and Haydn Society returns to the Institut français with a new repertoire of works. Since its founding, the Handel and Haydn Society has set very clearly two lines of work, and the first and most important is to deepen the knowledge of his works, and to promote informed interpretation of them. The other is not unconnected with the Handel and Haydn figures, as it seeks to do outreach work with leading figures in music.

Thursday, June 21 @ 7pm – Fête de la Musique. A music party with various performances, starting off with a DJ Set by the Red Bull Music Academy @ 7:45pm in the terrace, acoustic pop performance by June et Jim @ 9pm in the patio, followed by a reggae performance by Kilimandjaro @ 10:45pm and ending with a House DJ set by Terence Terry in the patio.

Free entrance. Early arrival is highly recommended.
