On the 7th and 8th of January Academia de Cine (Zurbano, 3  Metro: Alonso Martínez) will host various films of Paul Naschy.Going by his pseudonymn Paul Naschy,the recently deceased Jacinto Molina Álvarez, was a pioneer in horror filmmaking in Spain and earned himself the title of the “Boris Karloff of Spain”. As fate might recall,he apparently decided to dedicate a career to horror films after watching ¨Frankenstein¨ and ¨Wolfman¨.The programme of films being shown is:

Short film: Ahate pasa (2009/13’) of  Koldo Almandoz.
La marca del hombre lobo (1968/88’) of  Enrique López Eguiluz.

Friday 8 January, 19h
Short film: La vida de María Magdala (2009/14’) of  Santos Hevia.
