George Ohsawa was a Japanese philosopher who founded the macrobiotic diet in the 1920′s as a healthy, “zen-like” lifestyle that promoted longevity and a mean of combating chronic illness. This dietary regimen is similar to that of a vegetarian, consisting of whole grains, vegetables and occasional fish or meat. Learn more about this way of life tomorrow Tuesday, September 11th @ 8:30pm in Café Cósmico on Calle de Juan de Austria, 25. Metro: Iglesia (line 1). Free. Early arrival is recommended.
