It’s another season of Madrid Productores: The Farmer’s Market in Matadero! Matadero Madrid hosts the last weekend of every month the farmer’s market Madrid Productores, where more than 90 artisan producers and farmers sell their local produce. It’s a great central meeting point for locals to view the ample products from Madrid & for consumers to purchase directly from the producer with no intermediaries.
You will find everything here – fruits, vegetables, legumes, olive oil, cheese, meat, wine, bread, honey, potato chips…and much more all 100% Made in Madrid.
Furthermore, there are demonstrations, lectures, tastings and many other activities related to gastronomy and food. And if that were not enough, there is also live music and and bars for visitors to taste the products.
An fun event that contributes to the development of rural areas in the region, helping small farmers and local producers to promote and sell their products. At the same time, raising awareness among visitors of the importance of the environment involves food consumption proximity.
Madrid Productores is much more than a market, it is an ideal place to spend a great day with family or friends.
