May I dare say the same about Gregorio Marañón!?Apart from the Metro station on line ten and the hospital, Madrid is paying homenage to him by celebrating his life at the Biblioteca Nacional de España (Paseo de Recoletos, 20-22 Metro: Colón L4).The exposition offers a closer look at the life and work of this doctor,scientist,humanatarian who was a member of the Real Academia Española(RAE) of medicine,of history, mathematical sciences, physics and member of Bellas Artes(Fine Arts) of San Fernando.The library is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10am till 21 h., and from Sundays from 10am till 2pm.Entrance is free!
