The cultural segment of FNAC is organising what the coin as the first photomarathon to be celebrated in all shops of FNAC simultaneously on the 21st of May. Those interested should register at any FNAC store at the information disks befote this date. On the day of the Photomarathon, participants need to arrive at the shop where they registered with their camera where the theme of the marathon will be revealed. Consequently, the participants will be given a few hours to take pictures according to their interpretation of the theme given and return to deliver their choices in the same shop. The shop specialists in the shops will inspect the pictures to ensure that they were taken on the day of the marathon and will elect 1 winner in the adult category and 1 winner in the children’s category (below 12 years of age). Both winners will each receive of the adult´s category will receive a Fujifilm T200 + Sandisk SD Ultra 8gb card. The winners will then take part in a regional round where a national jury will choose 3 overall winners in the adult category. The prizes are 3 reflex camera by Nikon, Canon and Sony.
